Mr. Woodrow Jett, age 90, passed away at his residence at 1240 Franklin Pike on Wednesday night, March 26, 2008.

Mr. Jett was a native of Marshall County and a veteran in the United States Armed Services, retired from Genesco Corporation, a farmer and a member of the Cornersville Baptist Church.

Mr. Jett was preceded in death by his parents Robert Jett and Mattie Sharp Jett, his wife Gladys M. Jett, a daughter, Doris Adams, one brother; Robert T. Jett , and sister; Frances Jett Leslie.

He is survived by his daughter Betty Jean King of Lewisburg, one brother James F. Jett of Belfast, one sister Elizabeth Hill of Lewisburg, two grand- daughters Marie Tomlin of Cornersville and Leslie Adams of Lewisburg and one grandson Tommy King of Cornersville. Two step grandchildren, five great grandchildren, three step great grandchildren and four step great great Grandchildren.Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral Services for Mr. Jett will be Saturday, March 29, 2008 at 11:00 AM
from the chapel of Bills McGaugh Funeral Home with ---Tom Sumners officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, March 28, 2008 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday after 9 a.m.
