Wilbur Forton, Sr

Mr. Wilbur Earl Forton, Sr., age 81 of Lewisburg, passed away on Thursday, February 21, 2013 at Marshall Medical Center.
A native of Detroit, Michigan, he was the son of the late Jeff Forton and Josephine Wilson Forton. He was retired from General Motors and a member of the Catholic Church. He was a veteran serving his country in the United States Army during the Korean War.
In addition to his parents, his son, William Allan Forton, also preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia Kerce Forton of Lewisburg, one daughter, Denise (David) Tadajewski of Lewisburg, two sons, Lawrence William (Joan) Forton of Michigan, Wilber Forton, Jr. of Lewisburg, one brother, Joseph Forton of Michigan, grandsons, Anthony Tadajewski, James Tadajewski, David Tadajewski, Larry Forton, and Eric Forton, granddaughters, Felicia Tadajewski, Kristy Tadajewski, Samantha Tadajewski, Cheri Forton, Laura Forton, Angela Forton and 8 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services for Mr. Forton will be conducted on Monday, February 25, 2013 at 1:00 PM in Sunset Park with Father Bill Kelley officiating.
There will be no visitation prior to the graveside.
