Thomas Tony Blackwell

Thomas Anthony Tony Blackwell, age 52 of Lewisburg, passed away on Sunday, August 24, 2014 at his residence after an extended illness. Mr. Blackwell was born in Marshall County, was a self employed roofer, and was the son of the late John T. Blackwell and Kitty Umbles Blackwell of Belfast, who survives. Along with his father, he was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Jason Linley.

He is also survived by his wife, Marla Dawn Holland Blackwell; one daughter, Danielle (Josh) Dodson; three sons, Robbie (Dana) Blackwell, Anthony Blackwell, and Brandon Holland; one stepdaughter, Amanda Osborne; four brothers, Richie, Chris, Kenny, and Linton Blackwell; one sister, Sheila Linley; and eight grandchildren, all of Lewisburg.

Funeral services for Mr. Blackwell will be held Wednesday, August 27, 2014, at 2 PM at the Chapel of Bills-McGaugh Funeral Home with Linda Price officiating. Burial will follow in Short Cemetery in the Spring Place Community. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday, August 26, 2014 from 4 PM until 8 PM at Bills-McGaugh Funeral Home.
