Thomas McCoy, Sr

Mr. Thomas E. McCoy, Sr, age 80 of Lewisburg, died Saturday in Marshall Medical Center.

A native of Marshall County, he was the son of the late John Thomas and Lucy Troop McCoy, retired from Faber-Castell Corporation, and a member of the Church Street Church of Christ.

He is survived by three children: Jewel McCoy Scott of Pensecola, FL, Gayle McCoy Vore of Lewisburg, and Thomas E. McCoy, Jr. of Lewisburg; 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 10:00 AM from the chapel of Bills McGaugh Funeral Home. Burial will follow in New Hope Cemetery at Talley Station with full military honors.

The family will be at Bills McGaugh Funeral Home from 3:00 - 6:00 PM Sunday for visitation and Monday morning until the funeral hour.

Bills McGaugh Funeral Home and the United States Forest Service have provided for the planting of a tree in memory of Mr. McCoy.
