Susan Wright

Mrs. Susan Jean Pugh Thrash Wright, 55, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother and a resident of Hopkins Avenue in Lewisburg, died Monday, November 6, 2006 at Marshall Medical Center.

Funeral services for Mrs. Wright will be conducted Thursday, November 9, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. at Bills-McGaugh Funeral Home with Reverend Leland Carden officiating. Burial will be in Lone Oak Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Wednesday from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

The Philadelphia, Mississippi native was the daughter of the late Damon W. and Doris Jean Fanning Pugh. She was a Special Education teacher at Cornersville High School and member of the First United Methodist Church of Lewisburg.

She is survived by her husband, Malcolm S. Mack Wright, Jr.; a daughter and son-in-law, Kendra and Jimmy Helton of Pulaski, TN; 2 granddaughters, DeAnna Helton and Cheyanne Helton both of Pulaski, TN; 2 sisters, Shirley Thompson of Oakland, CA and Sharon Thrash of Jackson, MS; 9 brothers, Kenneth Pugh and Glen Pugh both of Sullivan, IN, Doyle Thrash, Danny Thrash, Donnie Thrash, Dennis Thrash, Derwin Thrash, Charles Thrash, and Randy Thrash all of Jackson, MS.; father and mother-in-law, Malcolm S., Sr. and Martha Elizabeth Wright of the Laws Hill Community; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by a brother, David Thrash

Pallbearers will be Steve Hammonds, Jerry Baxter, Justin Wright, Doyle Wayne Thrash, John Campbell, and Charles Rodgers. Honorary pallbearers will be the members of her Sunday School Class at First United Methodist Church.
