Susan Elaine Sellars passed away May 27, 2020 at her home surrounded by her family after an 18 month battle with pancreatic cancer.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, May 30th at 12:00 p.m. at Bills-McGaugh & Hamilton Funeral Home. The family invites friends to share memories and celebrate Susan’s life from 10:00 – 12:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.

Born June 9, 1958 in Atlanta, Georgia, to Harlon and Sandra Thompson, Susan was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, daughter-in-law, sister, and friend. She enjoyed working in her flower beds, spending time with her family, and volunteering in the community. Susan never met a stranger, always had a smile on her face, and always was willing to lend a helping hand.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband of 32 years, David Sellars, Jr.; daughter, Patty Sellars; son, Trey Sellars; and sister, Laura Thompson.

The family would like to extend their upmost gratitude to the staff of Maury Regional Hospital, Maury Regional Cancer Center, Caris Healthcare, and Dr. Varun Dhulipala for always providing the best care and unwavering compassion during these difficult times.
