Steven Marshall Finley, age 62 of Lewisburg, passed away on Saturday, November 22, 2014 at his residence. A native of Marshall County, Mr. Finley was the son of the late Billy Finley and Dorothy Ramsey Parker of Lewisburg, who survives. He worked for the VA Administration, was a deacon at East Commerce Baptist Church, and served his country with the armed forces as a Marine and with the United States Army. He was also preceded in death by his grandparents, Ellis and Margaret Finley.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of forty-one years, Jeannetta Lee Saxon Finley of Lewisburg; one son, Christopher (Danielle) Finley of Hume, MO; one brother, James Rhea of NC; four granddaughters, Megan Binford of Metz, MO, Kimberly Finley of New Braunfels, TX, Chelsey and Haylee Finley of Hume, MO; one grandson, Cody Finley of Phoenix, AZ, and one great-granddaughter, Keigan Binford of Metz, MO.
Funeral services for Mr. Finley will be Monday, December 1, 2014, at 10 AM at East Commerce Baptist Church in Lewisburg with Bro. Cliff Vines officiating. Burial will follow in Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery in Nashville. Visitation with the family will be Sunday, November 30, 2014, from 4 PM until 8 PM at Bills-McGaugh Funeral Home.
