Ruth Reese Floyd, age 94, of Lewisburg passed away on Monday, September 2, 2013, in NHC Healthcare-Oakwood. Mrs. Floyd was a native of Westminster, Maryland and the daughter of the late John W. and Julie Caples Reese. She was preceded in death by her husband, James F. Floyd, and a son, Thomas Floyd. She was retired from banking and she was a member of East Commerce Baptist Church.
She is survived by one daughter, Corlett Evans, and several great nephews and nieces.
Graveside services for Mrs. Floyd will be Wednesday, September 4, 2013, at 2 PM at Allen Cemetery in the Caney Springs Community. Visitation with family will be Wednesday before the service from 11 AM to 1 PM at Bills-McGaugh Funeral Home & Crematory in Lewisburg.
