Mr. Roger Allen, 64, retired employee of General Motors and resident of Lewisburg, died on Wednesday, September 24, 2019 at Maury Regional Medical Center.
Funeral Services for Mr. Allen will be conducted on Saturday, Sept. 28th at 2:00 PM at Bills-McGaugh & Hamilton Funeral Home. The family will visit with friends on Saturday from 12:00 PM until service time at the funeral home.
Born on June 3, 1955 in Anna, Illinois, he was the son of the late Wilbert L. Allen and the late Mildred Rader Allen. He loved baseball and was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan. Roger enjoyed fishing and working on cars in his free time.
Survivors include his daughters, Andria (John) Harding of Belfast, Jamie (Steven) Tudor of Murfreesboro; sisters, Joyce Valbert and Lori Wright both of Illinois; brothers, David (Jane) Allen, Gary (Dana) Allen, Kent (Melinda) Allen all of Illinois, Kevin (Jill) Allen of Florida; and four grandchildren, Caleb McElhaney, Wyatt Harding, Atley Tudor, and Ava Tudor.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Vickie Allen, and sisters, Carolyn Billingham and Linda Allen.
In Lieu of Flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Marshall County High School Baseball Team, 597 W Ellington Pkwy, Lewisburg, TN 37091 or Marshall County Babe Ruth League, 1200 N 5th Ave, Lewisburg, TN 37091.
