Robert Pomatto

October 15, 1945 — May 7, 2014

Robert "Bob" James Pomatto, age 68 of Lewisburg, passed away on Wednesday, May 7, 2014 in Williamson Medical Center. A native of Spring Valley, Illinois, Mr. Pomatto was the son of the late Bruno Pomatto and Anna Dubberstine Pomatto of Spring Valley, IL, who survives. He retired from AT&T after thirty years of service. He served his country in the Marines during the Vietnam War and was a member of St. John's Catholic Church.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Diana Bottoms Pomatto of Lewisburg; three daughters, Teresa A. (George) Bailey of Cornersville, C. Beth (Don) Hanson of Albuquerque, NM, and Deborah K. Gilley of Lewisburg; one son, Michael R. Pomatto of Lewisburg; one sister, Ann L. Pomatto of Spring Valley, IL, and eight grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mr. Pomatto will be held Saturday, May 10, 2014, at 10 AM at St. John's Catholic Church in Lewisburg with Father Bill Kelley officiating with full military honors at the church. Enurnment will follow in Lone Oak Cemetery at a later date. Visitation with the family will be Friday, May 9, 2014, from 4 PM until 8 PM at Bills-McGaugh Funeral Home and again on Saturday at the church after 9 AM until time of service.
