Robert Harlin

Mr. Robert Layman Harlin, age 79, passed away Thursday, January 22, 2009 at NHC- Lewisburg.
A native of Columbus, Georgia he was the son of the late Raleigh O. Hutcherson and Nora Braswell Hutcherson. Mr. Harlin worked as a plaster by trade and was a member of the Baptist church.
Mr. Harlin is preceded in death by his parents. His first wife, Betty J. Harlin, one sister, Shirley Harlin, and two sons, Shelby and Dean Harlin.
Survivors include his wife, Sadie M. Harlin, two sons, Chris B. Diane Harlin and Keith R. Kathy Harlin both of Florida. One daughter, Lydia Peldner Patrick of Texas, One step-daughter Glaydene Paul Gutierrez, one step-son James Newsome, twelve grandchildren and five great grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services for Mr. Harlin will be conducted on Saturday, January 24, 2009 at 4:00 PM from the chapel of Bills McGaugh Funeral Home with Brother Tom Sumners officiating. Visitation with the family will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2009 from 3:00 PM until the funeral hour.
