Polly Bensinger

September 26, 1918 — January 18, 2005

Mrs. Polly Washburn Bensinger, age 86 of Lewisburg, died Tuesday morning at St. Patrick Hospital in Missoula, Montana.

Mrs. Bensinger was a native of Lincoln County, daughter of the late Henry Adolphus and Sanny Key Washburn, a member of the Baptist Church, and a homemaker.

She is survived by three children: William L. Bensinger, Jr. of Lewisburg, Julia Ann Brown of Athens, AL, and Kem Bensinger Trice of Missoula, Montana; 8 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband: William L. Bensinger Sr. in 1968; and a sister: Bessie Poole.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 1:00 PM from the chapel of Bills McGaugh Funeral Home, with Mark Graham officiating. Burial will follow in Lone Oak Cemetery.

The family will be at Bills McGaugh Funeral Home Saturday morning from 10:00 AM until the funeral hour for visitation.

Bills McGaugh Funeral Home and the United States Forest Service have provided for the planting of a tree in Polly's memory.
