Phillip Wayne Mitchell

Mr. Phillip Wayne Mitchell, 69, resident of Lewisburg, died on Thursday, January 2, 2020 at Marshall Medical Center.

Funeral Services for Mr. Mitchell will be conducted on Sunday, January 5th at 1:00 PM at Bills-McGaugh & Hamilton Funeral Home. The family will visit with friends on Sunday, January 5th from 11:00 AM until time of service at the funeral home.

Born on February 26, 1950 in Jackson, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Phillip Mitchell and the late Mary Jobe. He was a retired self-employee truck driver. Phillip loved his cat, Buddy and was a good gospel singer. He was a member of Faith Assembly Church.

Survivors include his wife, Geneva James Mitchell of Lewisburg, daughter, Heather Kay Mitchell Resten of Brandon, Mississippi; brothers, Alexander “Read” (Karen) Saunders of Crossville, Allen Keeton “Kenny” (Janie) Mitchell of Smyrna, Thomas “Tommy” (Cheryl) Mitchell; sisters, Deborah Gail “ Debbie” (Frazier) Mitchell Thompson of Gulf Port, Mississippi, Mary Michelle (Larry) Mitchell Roberts; and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Faith Assembly Church, 2340 Highway 64, Lewisburg, TN 37091.
