Natt Shires, Jr

Mr. Natt Shires Jr., age 86, of Lewisburg, passed away on Sunday, December 13, 2009 at The Bridge of Rockwood Care and Rehabilitation Center in Rockwood, TN.
A native of Marshall County and a life long resident, was the son of the lateNatt Baxter Shires Sr. and Luster Rogers Shires. He was a veteran of the United States Army. He was a member of the Church Street Church of Christ in Lewisburg, TN. Mr. Shires worked at Genesco Shoe Corporation until he retired.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife of 46 years, Myrtle Lois Shires.
Survivors include 2 daughters, Wanda Conley and Brenda James McCord of Spring City, Tennessee, seven grandchildren, Tony Conley of Plano, Illinois, Brian McCord of Lavergne, Tennessee, Heather Conley of Garrett, Indiana, Eric McCord of Spring City, Tennessee, Jason Conley of Ottawah, Illinois, Joshua Conley of Plano, Illinois and Jonathan McCord of Spring City, Tennessee. Ten great grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mr. Shires will be conducted on Saturday, December 19, 2009 at 12:30 from the chapel of Bills McGaugh Funeral Home with Charles Williamson officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Park Cemetery with military honors.
Visitation with the family will begin on Saturday, December 19, 2009 from 11:00 AM until the funeral hour.
