Nancy Baker Platzer

Nancy Baker Platzer, age 70 passed away Tuesday, August 1, 2017 at the Maury Regional Medical Center. She was born on November 30, 1946 in Smith County, TN to the late James R. and Mary Louise Watts Baker. Nancy enjoyed long car drives, playing music and computer games.
Nancy was preceded in death along with her parents, James and Mary Baker by her husband, Wilford Robert Platzer. She is survived by two daughters, Tammy Collins, Connecticut, Mary (Paddy) Sheehan, Florida, two sisters, Joyce Watts, Lewisburg, TN, Betty Watts (Chad) Clark, Lewisburg, TN, a brother, Jerry (Glenda) Baker, Florida, four grandchildren, Chad Navin, Darren Navin, Kevin Collins, Antonia Collins, three great-grandchildren, Darren (DJ) Navin, Jr., Hadley Navin, Dylan Navin and a close companion and friend, David Perka, Lewisburg, TN.
Visitation will be with the family on Thursday, August 3, 2017 from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Bills-McGaugh & Hamilton Funeral Home & Crematory. A Memorial Service will begin at 2:00 PM.
