Myrta Perry

Mrs. Myrta V. Perry, age 82, passed away on Wednesday, February 9, 2011 at Marshall Medical Center,

A native of Marshall County, she was the daughter of the late Hazel Harris Tennison and Sam Tennison. She was a retired school teacher, a member of the retired Marshall County Teachers Association, a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Lewisburg where she was a member of the Women of Church, and a past elder.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Jay Linville Perry 2003 and a sister Mildred Rich January 26, 2011
Survivors include two daughters, Sandra Ed Palmer of Oneonta, AL, Myra Finny Edwards of Shelbyville, TN, five grandchildren Jonathan Greyson Billingham, Jennifer Michael Smallbone, Julie Edwards, Perry Becky Bolding, and Faith Palmer. Four great grandchildren Emelye Billingham, Joshua Billingham, Adelyn Billingham, and Levi Bolding also survive.
Funeral services for Mrs. Perry will be conducted on Saturday, February 12, 2011 at 2:00 PM from the First Presbyterian Church on the square in Lewisburg, with Jeff Eason and Claude McMillion officiating. Burial will follow in Temple Cemetery.
The family will visit with friends on Friday, February 11, 2011 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the First Presbyterian Building Fund.
