Ms. Mildred Lois Hamby Terry, age 75 of Lewisburg, died Sunday evening in NHC-Dickson.
A native of Hugo, OK, Ms. Terry was the daughter of the late William J. and Cleo McMillan Hamby, and owner of the Caney Spring Store. A member of the Lutheran church, Ms. Terry was affiliated with the Caney Spring Baptist Church in recent years.
She is survived by two daughters: Carol Anne Parker of Burkburnette, TX and Doris Lynn Byrd of Nashville; two sisters: Patsy Chastain of Soper, OK, and Betty Moorlock of Hugo, OK. 7 grandchildren: Mitchell Byrd of Antioch, Terry Byrd of Spring Hill, Shellie Pruitt of Lewisburg, Chris Allen Byrd of Chapel Hill, William Eric Byrd of Lavergne, John David Furr of Stephenville, TX, and Andrea Nichole Furr of Hermitage; and 8 great-grandchildren also survive.
Services celebrating Ms. Terrys life will be conducted Wednesday at 1:00 PM from the chapel of Bills McGaugh Funeral Home. The family will visit with friends one hour prior to the services Wednesday at Bills McGaugh Funeral Home.
