Maude Swanson

Maude E. Swanson, age 91 of Lewisburg, passed away on Sunday, January 11, 2015 at Lincoln Medical Center after an extended illness. A native of Harrison City, PA, Mrs. Swanson was the daughter of the late Paul Lauffer and Martha Whirlow Lauffer. She was also preceded in death by her husband, George Donald Swanson, who passed away in 1994 and one son, George Donald Swanson, Jr. who passed away in 2004.

She is survived by one son, Dr. Gary (Clarinda) Swanson of Lewisburg;four grandchildren, Stacey (Ray) Kessler, George (Stacey) Donald Swanson, III, Cody Swanson and Noah Swanson; four great-grandchildren, George Donald Swanson, IV, Brandon Swanson, Emily Kessler, and Victoria Swanson; and many nieces and nephews.

There will be a private family memorial service at a later date.
