Mattie Neese

Mattie J. Baugher Neese, age 80 of Lewisburg, passed away on Monday, December 29, 2014 at NHC Healthcare- Oakwood. Mrs. Neese was a native of Limestone County, AL and was the daughter of the late Asa Baugher and Ophelia Vincent Baugher. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Claude Neese who passed away in 1992, one sister, Wynell Peete, and three brothers, Morris, Dorris, and Asa Miles Baugher. She retired from Inner City Products after twenty-two years and was a member of the Church of Christ.

Mrs. Neese is survived by two daughters, Sandra (Eddie) Roberts of Cornersville and Claudette (Scott) Williams of Culleoka; two sons, Dennis (Betty) Neese and Randy (Becky) Neese, both of Lewisburg; three brothers, Bryant Baughter, Alton Baugher, both of Lewisburg, and Redus Baugher of Shelbyville; a grandson, Michael (Jennifer) Hollingsworth of Lewisburg; eight other grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mrs. Neese will be held Wednesday, December 31, 2014, at 11 AM in the Chapel of Bills-McGaugh Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Sunset Park Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday, December 30, 2014 from 4 PM until 8 PM.
