Matthew Thomas Lentz was the infant son of Charles 'Chuck' and Michelle Callahan Lentz, of the Wheel Community.

Other survivors include grandparents: Joe M. Callahan of Lewisburg and Peggy Lentz of Shelbyville; and two half-sisters: Chasity and Kimberly Lentz.
