Biography Mrs. Mary Frances Simmons, age 78 of Lewisburg, TN passed away Wednesday, April 06, 2011 at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville, TN. She was a native of Marshall County, the daughter of the late Willie R. Jett and Beulah Mae Keel Jett.
Her husband Alvis Billy Simmons who died in March 2008, a daughter Patsy Simmons and one sister and eight brothers also predeceased her.
She retired from Cosmolab and Walmart and a member of Westvue Church of Christ and VFW Auxillary.
She is survived by one daughter Pam Chunn (Andy) of Pulaski, TN, two sons Mike Simmons (Velvet) and Terry Simmons both of Lewisburg. Also surviving are six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mrs. Simmons will be Friday, April 8, 2011 from the chapel of Bills-McGaugh Funeral Home at 11:00 A.M. with Rick Rolin officiating. Burial will take place in Berea Cemetery at Verona. Visitation with the family will be Thursday, April 7, 2011 from 4 P.M. to 8 P.M. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are encouraged to Marshall County Memorial Library, 310 Farmington Road, Lewisburg, TN 37091 and Ronald McDonald House in Nashville, TN.
