Mary Ruth Milton Griffin

Mary Ruth Griffin, age 91 passed away on Sunday, September 3, 2017 at her residence in Lewisburg, TN. She was born in 1926 to the late Bennie and Bertha Umbles Milton in Brownsville, TN.
Mary Ruth was preceded in death along with her parents by her husband, Bill Griffin, a daughter, Elease Sanders, a son, Aubrey Griffin, and a sister, Pearl Polly. She is survived by four sons, Billy (Linda) Griffin, Lewisburg, TN, Victor (Jean) Griffin, Lewisburg, TN, Pete (Sylvia) Griffin, Lewisburg, TN, Terry (Kathy) Griffin, Belfast, TN, three daughters, Peggy Brogan, Lewisburg, TN, Janie (Doyle) Langham, Lewisburg, TN, Brenda (Frankie) Haislip, Petersburg, TN, seventeen grandchildren, thirty-nine great-grandchildren, twelve great-great-grandchildren, and her best friend of over forty years, Mary Grubbs.
Visitation with the family will be Tuesday, September 5, 2017 from 4:00 PM 8:00 PM in the Chapel of Bills-McGaugh & Hamilton Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at 1:00 PM in the Chapel with burial to follow in the Elliott Cemetery.
