Mary Louise Lee age 88 of Grafton went home to be with her Lord Sunday, February 19, 2012 in New Life Hospice Center of St. Joseph in Lorain after a long illness. She was born March 4, 1923 in Lewisburg, Tenn., living in Grafton area since 1953. She was a past member of LaGrange Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school and helped in the nursery. She is currently a member at Elyria Baptist Church on Washington Ave. in Elyria. She retired in 1989 from the Seaway Bolt Co. in Columbia Station after 20 yrs. as a machine operator. Mrs. Lee enjoyed country gospel music, traveling to Fla. & Tenn. visiting with family and spending time with her family in Ohio.
She is survived by 1 son Marvin Lee Jr. of Mooresville, N.C.
2 daughters Paulette Hatcher of Grafton and Judy Brown of Elyria
6 grand children Tracy Dorsey, Kelley Turnbull, Ron, Christopher, & Michael Lee and Alison Rodriguez. 6 Great grandchildren Amber Adkins, Brenna & Owen Turnbull, Ava & Stephen Rodriguez, and Savannah Lee. 3 great great grandchildren Aaron, Emma & Kayla Adkins.She is preceded in death by her husband Marvin in 1990, Grandson Stephen Brown, 3 brothers & 1 sister.
Graveside services for Mrs. Lee will be conducted on Friday, February 24, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Lone Oak Cemetery.
