Mary Fitzgerald

Mrs. Mary Anna Gates Fitzgerald, age 85 of Lewisburg, died Wednesday morning in NHC-Lewisburg.
Mrs. Fitzgerald was the daughter of the late Porter A. and Alice Parks Stowers, a homemaker and member of the Church St. Church of Christ. She was a member of the Robert Lewis Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, and was preceded in death by her husbands: Forrest Gates in 1964 and John D. Fitzgerald in 1996.
She is survived by two daughters: Elynor Roger Busler of Lewisburg and Melinda William Weber of Paducah, KY; a step-son: John Fitzgerald of Nashville; a brother: Dick Stowers of Columbia; 6 grandchildren: Robert Weber of Orlean, VA, Mary Ellen Weber Starmer of Knowville, TN, David Fitzgerald of Nashville, TN, Katherine Fitzgerald Murphy of Alexandria, VA, Forrest Busler of Nashville, and Mary Margaret Busler of Lewisburg; and 1 great-grandchild.
Visitation with the family will be Thursday after 4:00 PM at Bills McGaugh Funeral Home. The family will gather at Lone Oak Cemetery on Friday at 10:00 AM for graveside services.
The family requests memorial donations be made to Agape', 4555 Trousdale Dr, Nashville, TN, 37204.
