Mary Elizabeth Smith Chapman

Mary Elizabeth Chapman, age 91, passed away on Monday, June 27, 2016, at NHC Lewisburg, Lewisburg, TN. She was retired from Petersburg Manufacturing where she worked as a secretary and was a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church of Lewisburg, TN.
Mrs. Chapman was preceded in death by her parents, Albert Horace and Mary Annie Parks Smith, her husband, Truman Chapman, a brother, Lester Smith, and two sons, Ronnie Chapman and Steve Chapman.
She is survived by a niece, Patty (Don) Crabtree, Delina Community, a dear friend, Elise Welch, Petersburg, TN, a nephew, Randy Early, Nashville, TN, a sister-in-law, Sally Early, Nashville, TN, great nieces, great nephews, and many other relatives, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 30, 2016, from 10:00 am until 12:00 PM Noon. A Graveside Service will be held in the Old Orchard Cemetery, Petersburg, TN at 1:00 PM with Danny Tate officiating. Charles Fullerton, Dawson Smith, Randy McDaniel, Randy Early, Carl Welch, and Don Crabtree will serve as pallbearers. James Lee Allen will serve as honorary pallbearer.
