Marty Plott

Marty Ray Plott, age 47 of Lewisburg, passed away on Friday, December 13, 2013, at Marshall Medical Center in Lewisburg. A native of Twin Falls, Idaho, Mr. Plott is the son of Larry Bryan Plott and Marilyn Anne Ruhter Plott of Bellevue, Idaho who survive him. He was a Curriculum Developer at Lockheed Martin.
He is also survived by one daughter, Cheyenne Plott; one son Laramie Plott, both of Lewisburg; one sister, Angela Plott of Arlington, Virginia; two brothers, Stacey (Kathryn) David of Nashville and Tony (Shelby) Plott of Boise, Idaho, and five nieces.
Funeral services for Mr. Plott will be Thursday, December 19, 2013, at 2 PM from the Chapel of Bills-McGaugh Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Lone Oak Cemetery in Lewisburg. Visitation with the family will be Wednesday, December 18, 2013, from 4 PM to 8 PM at Bills-McGaugh Funeral Home and again on Thursday from 1 PM until the funeral hour.
In Jewish tradition, placing rocks on tombs represents "The Rock of Israel". Like God Himself, rocks are permanent and enduring fixtures that remind us of the Lord's infinite, unending love. In lieu of sending or bringing flowers, please send or bring a small rock or pebble. "The grass withers and the flowers fall but the Word of our God stands forever." Isaiah 40:8
