Martha Garrett

Mrs. Martha Gray Garrett, age 86 of Lewisburg, died Saturday, Oct. 11, 2003 in Marshall Medical Center in Lewisburg.
A native of Marshall County, Mrs. Garrett was the daughter of the late Jack and Lola Gillespie Gray, a retired teacher, and a member of the Lewisburg First United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her three children: Gray Bubba Garrett, Brenda Jane Garrett, and Martha Gayle Kirkhofer; and a sister: Jane Gray.
She is survived by her husband: William Wilson Garrett of Columbia; two grandchildren: Sharon Holt of Goodlettsville, TN and Rex Kirkhofer of Austin, TX; and two great-grandchildren: Heather Holt and Dax Holt of Goodlettsville.
Graveside services for Mrs. Garrett will be conducted Tuesday at 11:00 AM in Lone Oak Cemetery. The family will be at Bills McGaugh Funeral Home from 10:00 until 11:00 AM Tuesday for visitation.
The family requests memorial donations be made to the Lewisburg Animal Shelter, 300 Woodside Ave, Lewisburg, TN 37091.
