Mrs. Martha Elizabeth Harris Collins, age 93, of Lewisburg passed away on Wednesday, January 27, 2010 at Marshall Medical Center
A native of Huntland, TN, she was the daughter of the late Jack Harris and Clara Bryant Harris. She was a homemaker and also worked as a secretary for The University of Florida for several years. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Lewisburg.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, W.R. Collins who passed away in 1998. A sister, Mary Ann Allen, two brothers, T.O. Harris and Jack Harris.
Survivors include one daughter; Betty Sue Anderson of Wilmington, Delaware. One son; Bob Chris Collins of Lewisburg. 5 Grandchildren, Brenndon Collins, Jordan Collins, Cathy Trissel, Laura Merva and Susan Paladeau. Seven Great Grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
Mrs. Collins will be cremated and a graveside Memorial service will be conducted on Tuesday, February 2, 2010 at 2:00 PM at Lone Oak Cemetery. Rev.Mark Irvin officiating. There is no visitation scheduled.
