Mark Anthony Lance, Jr., age 66 of Lawrenceburg, passed away on Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at his residence.
Mr. Lance was a native of Lansing, MI and was the son of the late Mark Lance, Jr. and Almeda Bowles Lance. In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by two brothers, Ray and Bob Lance.
Mr. Lance was a truck driver, member of The Way Church in Lawrenceburg, and served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.
Mr. Lance is survived by his wife, Barbara Lance of Lawrenceburg; three sons, Carl Lance of FL, Mark Lance of MI, and Douglas Mayo of Memphis, TN; two daughters, Constance Mayo of Anchorage, AK and Andrea Foust of Pulaski, TN; one brother, Don Lance of MI, ten grandchildren, Jessica, Joshua, Rose, and Leigha Lance of MI, Heather McKinley of Lawrenceburg, William Foust, Jr. and Sophia Guess of Pulaski, TN, Veronica Mayo of PA, Jacob May of Memphis, TN and Misty Godwin of LA; four great-grandchildren, Mark Foust, Patricia Kurk, BriAnna Guess, and Maddison Kurk; dear friends, Kenny Ray and Debbie Adkins, Chris Holt, and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 21, 2015 at 6 PM at The Way Church in Lawrenceburg with Larry Creekmore officiating.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to The American Cancer Society in memory of Mark.
