Marjorie Marie Endsley Taylor, age 91, passed away on Sunday, May 6, 2018 at her residence in Lewisburg, TN. Ms. Taylor was born on August 3, 1926 to the late Edwin and Irene Van Overschelde Endsley in Highmore, South Dakota. She was a retired employee of Cosmolab in Lewisburg.
Along with her parents, Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband of sixty-four years, William Farris Taylor, two brothers, George Endsley, Everett Endsley, and two sisters, Mary Wiggins and LaVonna Wilbur. She is survived by her children, William Edwin (Eddie) Taylor, his wife, Kim, Lewisburg, TN, Ricky Joe Taylor, Lynnville, TN, Yvonne Hopkins, her husband, Ritchie, of the Brick Church Community in Giles County, TN, and Yvette Bakken, her husband, Steve, of Lewisburg, TN, nine grandchildren, Markela (Mike) Cashion, Jeremiah (Amy) Bakken, Andrew Bakken, Jacob (Anna) Hopkins, Kayla Hopkins, Hope Taylor, Elizabeth Taylor, Seth Taylor, and Rachel Grace Taylor, nine great-grandchildren, a sister, Sara (Steve) Tucker, Florida, two sister-in-laws, Sara Cliff, Cornersville, Mary Endsley, Columbia, brother-in-law, Joe Wiggins, Texas, an aunt, Othella Endsley, Lewisburg and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation with the family will be held on Tuesday, May 8, 2017 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm in the Chapel of Bills-McGaugh & Hamilton Funeral Home, 755 Yell Road, Lewisburg, TN. Ms. Taylor's Funeral Service will be Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at 3:00pm with burial to follow in the Short Cemetery, Spring Place Community with Marlin Finley officiating. Pallbearers will be Eddie Taylor, Jeremiah Bakken, Jacob Hopkins, Seth Taylor, Mike Cashion, and Chase Linley. Honorary pallbearer will be Andrew Bakken.
