Mrs. Mariann Case

Mrs. Mariann Pickens Gwin Case,87, a former long-time resident of 4th Avenue in Lewisburg, died Monday, October 23, 2006 in Knoxville where she had made her home for the past several years.

Graveside services for Mrs. Case will be conducted Wednesday, October 25, 2006 at 2:00 PM at Lone Oak Cemetery with Reverend Frank Webb officiating. The family will visit with friends Wednesday from 12:00noon until 1:30 PM at Bills-McGaugh Funeral Home.

The Marshall County native was the daughter of the late James Oliver, Sr. and Mettie E. Turner Pickens. She was the widow of Harry O. Gwin and Cliff Case, Sr. For many years she was the Election Registrar of Marshall County. She was a member of the 2nd Presbyterian Church in Nashville.

She is survived by a son, James M. Jean of Knoxville, TN; 2 nephews, David Morris Pickens of Knoxville, TN and Jack Crutcher Pickens of Valrico, FL.

Memorials may be made to the church of your choice in the Lewisburg area or the Marshall County Animal Shelter, 1108 Courthouse Annex, Lewisburg, Tennessee 37091.
