Margaret Murrell

Margaret R. Keener Murrell, age 82 of Lewisburg, passed away on Saturday, July 19, 2014, in Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia. A native of Lawrenceburg, Mrs. Murrell was the daughter of the late Dallas Keener and Elizabeth Kobeck Keener. She was retired from Cosmolab and was a member of East Commerce Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Murrell, who passed away in 2005; one son, Phillip Murrell; three sisters, Dorothy Springer, Doris Voss, and Barbara Keener; three brothers, Jim Keener, Bruce Keener, and Tony Keener.

She is survived by one son, Mike Murrell of Lewisburg; three brothers, Charlie Keener of Little Rock, AR, Ethridge Keener and Dewey Keener, both of Lawrenceburg; one sister, Gaynell Davis of Mt. Pleasant, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Mrs. Murrell will be held Monday, July 21, 2014, at 11 AM from the Chapel of Bills-McGaugh Funeral Home with Bro. Cliff Vines officiating with burial to follow in Lone Oak Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Sunday, July 20, 2014, from 4 PM until 8 PM and again on Monday, beginning at 10 AM until the service hour.
