Mabel Cressy Chapman

Mrs. Mabel Roberta Cressy Chapman, age 91 of the Possum Trott Community, passed away on Thursday, August 2, 2007 at her residence.
Her Husband, Clifford O. Chapman 1978, precedes her in death.
She was the daughter of the late John Cressy and Esther Schadt.
Mrs. Chapman is survived by a twin Sister; Esther Spaulding of New Hampshire., Two Daughters; Widge Chapman, Jo Chapman Brown, One Son; Pete Chapman all of the Possum Trott Community. In addition she is also survived by Five Grandchildren; Chris Chapman and Will Brown also of the Possum Trott Community, Laurie Reeves of Lewisburg, Rick Cressy of New York State and Debbie Wright of Florida. Numerous Great Grandchildren and Nieces & Nephews also survive.
Mrs. Chapman received her nursing degree at Margaret Pillsbury School in Concord, New Hampshire. She was a Homemaker, a Navy Veteran that served as a Lieutenant in the Nurse Core during WWII at Pearl Harbor and a member of the Lutheran faith.
Funeral services for Mrs. Chapman will be conducted on Monday, August 6, 2007 at 2 P.M. at Richland Cumberland Presbyterian Church with Ron Kleine officiating. Burial to follow in Short Cemetery with military honors.
The family will visit with friends on Sunday, August 5th from 4:00 P.M until 8:00 P.M. at Bills-McGaugh Funeral Home and also on Monday one hour prior to service time at the church.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Paralyzed Veterans of America Fund, 7 Mill Brook Road, Wilton, New Hampshire 03086.
