Mrs. Louise Hardison Cochran, age 102, passed away on Thursday, January 27, 2001 at NHC- Lewisburg.
A native of Marshall County, she was the daughter of the late Chesley E. Hardison and Margaret Musgrave Hardison. She was a member of the Marshall County Retired Teachers Association and the First United Methodist Church of Lewisburg.
She received her education at Verona Elementary, Central High School in Nashville. She also attended Murfreesboro Teachers College MTSU and Peabody College where she majored in primary education and minored in music. She taught for 22 years in Marshall and Davidson counties. She served her church in various capacities including the Women's Missionary Society, teaching the young people, and was church pianist for twelve years.
For many years, she served as organist for many funerals at the local funeral homes. Upon her retirement from teaching, she served as organist for the Marshall County Senior Citizens Charalaires.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Howard Cochran 1963 and five brothers Ervin, Everett, Thomas, Ernie Jr. and James Wink Hardison.

Funeral services for Mrs. Cochran will be conducted on Saturday, January 29, 2011 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Bills McGaugh Funeral Home, with burial to follow in Lone Oak Cemetery.
Visitation with the family will begin on Saturday, January 29, 2011 from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at the funeral home.
