OBITUARY NOTICE
Mrs. Lois Pedley Turner, age 85 passed away on Sunday, June 13, 2010 at NHC-Merihil. Mrs. Turner was a native of Niagara Falls, New York. She was a housewife and the widow of the John Buford Turner who died in 1997. During WWII, she was a USO entertainer and worked on military aircraft at Bell Aircraft. In 2007 she was honored as a Rosie the Riveteer in Washington, D.C.
Preceding her in death were her parents John Martin Pedley and Maude Frances Weaver, one son Ronald B. Turner and brother John Martin Pedley, Jr.
She is survived by one son Robert L. Pam Turner of Columbia, TN and one daughter Rhonda L. Turner of Lewisburg, TN and two grandsons Robert L. Turner, Jr. of Brentwood, TN and John T. Turner of Delray Beach, FL and a dear friend Gail Reagor of Spring Hill, TN.
Funeral services for Mrs. Turner will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 16, 2010 from the chapel of Bills-McGaugh Funeral Home with burial at Liberty Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery in McMinnville, TN. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday, June 15, 2010 at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and one hour before the service on Wednesday.
