Mrs. Lillian C. Doggett age 86, passed away Saturday October 7, 2006 at Maury Regional Hospital in Columbia. Mrs. Doggett was the widow of the late Thomas Doggett who passed away in 1990.
She was born in Ware Shoals, South Carolina on July 13th, 1920. She was the daughter of the late Willis Earl Collins and Oma Pegg Collins. She was a member of the Farmington Baptist Church and was a retired florist in Lewisburg.
She was preceded in death by a son Carey C. Jewell Sr. and two brothers Joseph and James Collins.
She is survived by two grandsons James A. Jewell and Carey C. Jewell II, one sister Pearl C. Pannell of Gastonia, NC, seven great grandchildren, several great great grandchildren, one niece and two nephews, and a close friend Marie Harrison of Liberty Valley and caregiver Lisa Morris of Lewisburg.
Funeral services will be on Sunday, October 8th from the chapel of Bills-McGaugh Funeral Home with interment in Lone Oak Cemetery. The family will visit with friends beginning at 12:00 p.m. on Sunday.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Parkinson Disease Association.
