Lila Margaret ' 'Marge Ragsdale

September 7, 1926 — February 1, 2006

Mrs. Lila Margaret Marge Ragsdale, age 80 of Lewisburg, died Wednesday morning in Marshall Medical Center.

A native of Marshall County, she was the daughter of the late Coy Leonard & Ruth Ridener Bailey, widow of Roger Ragsdale, a bookkeeper and member of the Lewisburg First Baptist Church.

Marge is survived by one sister: Mrs. Betty Bigger of Lewisburg; 4 nieces: Joy Orr, Pat Cook, Kathy Hardison, and Edna Wilson all of Lewisburg; and 2 nephews: Matthew Sonny Scoggins of Columbia and Leonard Hewitt Scoggins of Lynnville.

The family will be at Bills McGaugh Funeral Home on Thursday after 5:00 PM for visitation.

Mrs. Ragsdale will lie in state on Friday at the Lewisburg First Baptist Church from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM. Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 1:00 PM from the sanctuary of the Lewisburg First Baptist Church, officiated by Rev. Paul Woodford. Burial will follow in Lone Oak Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Mickey Orr, Hewitt Scoggins, Matthew Scoggins, Beau Hardison, Brian Cook, and Race Wilson.

The family requests that memorial donations be made to the Kidney Foundation or the American Heart Association.

Bills McGaugh Funeral Home and the United States Forest Service have provided for the planting of a tree in memory of Mrs. Ragsdale.
