Leonard Grubbs

Mr. Leonard Eugene Grubbs, age 73 of Petersburg, passed away on Thursday, September 13, 2007 at his residence.
He was the son of the late Cecil and Ruby Grubbs.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Pierce Grubbs of Petersburg, one son, Larry Grubbs of Petersburg, one daughter, Christy Dalton of Section, AL., six stepchildren, Charles Pierce of North Carolina, Linda Roberts of Ohio, Diane Vencill of Ohio, Patty Weatherbee of Ohio, Shirley LaCaze of Texas, and Katie Mackanos of Florida. In addition survives five grandchildren, fifteen step grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mr. Grubbs will be conducted on Sunday, September 16, 2007 at 2:30 p.m. from the chapel of Bills - McGaugh Funeral Home with Sonny Moore officiating and burial to follow at Cochran Cemetery.
The family will visit with friends on Saturday, August 15, 2007 from 1:00 P.M until 8:00 P.M. and also on Sunday until the funeral hour.
Pallbearers are Tony Nichols, James Owens, Terry Griffin, Pete Griffin, Larry Hardin and Larry Grubbs.
Bills-McGaugh Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
