Kenneth Attkisson

Kenneth Attkisson, age 81 passed away on Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at his residence in Lewisburg, TN. He was born on August 3, 1936 to the late Robert Solon and Mattie Pearl Crumley Attkisson in Lawrenceburg, TN. Kenneth was retired from Walker Die Casting as the Plant Manager and the previous owner of K & S Market in Lewisburg, TN. He enjoyed doing his yard work and listening to music.
Mr. Attkisson was preceded in death along with his parents by his wife, Dorothy Sue Attkisson. He is survived by three daughters, Susan Pugh, Lewisburg, TN, Deborah Blacksher, Murfreesboro, TN, Dana Croy, Nashville, TN, a son, Bill Cozart, Shelbyville, TN, two brothers, Campbell Attkisson, College Grove, TN, Jackie Attkisson, Columbia, TN, a sister, Patsy Hayes, Tampa, FL, nine grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation with the family will be Friday, August 18, 2017 from 4:00 until 8:00 PM in the Chapel of Bills-McGaugh & Hamilton Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, August 19, 2017 at the funeral home with Clyde Mize officiating. Burial will be held in Lone Oak Cemetery, Lewisburg, TN. Pallbearers will be Stephen Cozart, Kentson Blacksher, Kenneth Pugh, Noah Croy, Drew Finch, Houston Pugh and Isaac Blacksher.
