Kathleen Jett Lemay, age 61 of Lewisburg, passed away on Tuesday, January 21, 2014. A native of Petersburg, Mrs. Lemay was the daughter of the late George Richard Jett and Mamie Katherine Griffis Jett. She was a sales associate working in various retail stores and a member of Lifesong Family Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Martha and Dorothy Jett and a brother, Richard Jett.
She is survived by her husband, Christopher Lemay of Lewisburg; two daughters, Tracy Marshall of Pulaski and Casey (Dennis) Tindell of Lewisburg; one son, Bradley (Kristin) Foster of Lewisburg; one step-daughter, Ashley Lemay of Lewisburg; four sisters, Frances (Winston) Doud, Mary Jane Baugher, Ella Mae (Jim) Jordan, all of Lewisburg, and Christine (Fred) Rutledge of Fayetteville; five brothers, Paul Jett and Edward (Kathy) Jett of Belfast, David Jett, Joe (Jean) Jett of Lewisburg, and George (Elaine) Jett of Fayetteville. Four grandchildren, another one on the way, and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services for Mrs. Lemay will be Friday, January 24, 2014, at 2 PM from the Chapel of Bills-McGaugh Funeral Home with Rocky Cunningham officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Park Cemetery in Lewisburg. Visitation with the family will be Thursday, January 24, 2014, from 4 PM to 8 PM at Bills-McGaugh Funeral Home.
