Katherine Patton

Mrs. Katherine Sharp Patton, age 90, passed away Sunday, August 01, 2010 at NHC-Oakwood. Mrs. Pastton was a native of Marshall County, the daughter of the late Percie Sharp and Annie Whitesell Sharp. She was retired from Genesco. She was a member of Lewisburg First Cumberland Presbyterian Church. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her first husband John Henry Gillespie III, her second husband Maury Patton, one brother W. T. Sharp, one sister Martha Jean Faith and a grandson Jack Gillespie.

She is survived by two sons John Henry Gillespie IV and Harvey Donna Gillespie, both of Lewisburg, three granddaughters Ginger Scott Tepedino, Barbara Brad Medley, Jill John Karby all of Lewisburg, two great-grandsons Jack Whaley and Will Medley, three great-granddughters Mary amd Grace Medley and Bella Tepedino all of Lewisburg.

Graveside services for Mrs. Patton will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 3rd. 2010 at Lone Oak Cemetery with Claude McMillion officiating. Visitation with the family will be two hours prior to the graveside service.

Serving as pallbearers are Scott Tepedino, Brad Medley, John Karby, Jack Whaley, Tony Johnson and Don Haislip.

In lieu of flowers, memorial can be made in memory of Mrs. Patton to the American Heart Association, Attn: Memorial/Tributes, P. O. Box 840692, Dallas, TX 75284-0692.
