Mr. J. W. Anderson, age 92 of Lewisburg passed away on Wednesday, February 03, 2010 at NHC-Oakwood, Lewisburg. A native of Marshall County, Mr. Anderson was the son the late Herschel Anderson and Lou Dena Dillard Anderson. He was a radio engineer at local radio stations WJJM, WAXO, and WMCP in Columbia and was a member of Lewisburg First United Methodist Church.
Mr. Anderson is survived by his wife of 71 years, Gladys Anderson, One daughter Lynda Malcolm Edwards of Scottsville, KY, one grandson Chris Edwards of Guyton, GA and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mr. Anderson will be held at Bills-McGaugh Funeral Home on Saturday February 6 at 11:00 A.M. with visitation beginning at 9:00 A.M. until the funeral hour. Rev. Mark Irvin will officiate and burial will be at Lone Oak Cemetery.
