John Mitchell

Mr. Mitchell died Wednesday afternoon in NHC-Lewisburg.
A native of Giles Co TN, he was the son of the late William Herschel and Ethel Tucker Mitchell, a retired carpenter with Brindley Company, a farmer, and a member of the Cornersville Church of Christ.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Christine Mitchell in Nov. 2000, a son, Danny Mitchell, a sister, Laura Nell Stewart, and his grandson, Jonathan David Hollingsworth.
Mr. Mitchell is survived by his daughter, Carol Ann Hollingsworth Tidwell of Lewisburg.
The family requests in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to the Jonathan D. Hollingsworth Memorial Scholarship, c/o First National Bank, P O Box 9, Belfast, TN 37019 or the Cornersville Church of Christ Building Fund, P O Box 8, Cornersville, TN 37047.
