Joe Jim Bradford, age 93, of Nashville passed away on Sunday, May 26, 2013, in St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville. Mr. Bradford was a native of Marshall County and the son of the late Calvin Bradford and Lura Crunk Bradford. He worked for VA as a Judicial Director and he was of The Cumberland Presbyterian faith. He served his country in World War II in the Army, and later served with the Air Force.
He is survived by one sister, Ellen Elizabeth Bradford Eldridge, two nieces, Betty Eve Saal and Ellen Sheryl Wade, a nephew, William Kent Eldridge, Jr. all of Nashville. Additional great nieces and nephews also survive.
Graveside services for Mr. Bradford will be Tuesday, May 28, 2013, at 2 PM at Short Cemetery in the Spring Place Community. Visitation with family will be Tuesday before the service from 11 AM to 1 PM at Bills-McGaugh Funeral Home & Crematory in Lewisburg.
