Biography
Mr. Jeffrey Scott Marshall, age 45 of Lewisburg passed away on Sunday, August 19, 2012, at Marshall Medical Center.
Born in Richmond, Virginia, he was a long time resident of Lewisburg and was the son of Suzy (Doug) Alberts and James Marshall. He loved writing music and singing to his family, playing video games and watching his favorite TV show Avatar. He was always a kid at heart and a proud member of the Duck River Project Band.
His first wife, Tonia Lake Marshall, preceded Mr. Marshall in death.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his loving wife of 14 years Mary Jo Marshall of Lewisburg, two sons Jeffrey Marshall II of Lewisburg, Quentin (Dewey) Marshall of Cornersville and one daughter Kira LaVonne Marshall of Lewisburg. Two-step sons Alex and Allen Alberts of Lewisburg, one stepdaughter Christi Dawn Roper of Chapel Hill and one grandchild Aria Morgan Roper also survive.
Funeral Services will be conducted on Thursday, August 23, 2012 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Bills McGaugh Funeral Home with Herbie Reed officiating.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday August 22, 2012 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
The ashes will be interred at Lone Oak Cemetery on Saturday, August 25, 2012 at 2:00 PM
In lieu of flowers donations are encouraged to Bills McGaugh Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
