James Woodward

Mr. James Thomas Hoss Woodward, age 74, of Petersburg passed away Wednesday May 21, 2008 at Lincoln Regional Medical Center.
A native of Marshall County, He was the son of the late Thomas Hoyle Woodward and Mildred Andrews Woodward. He was retired from International Comfort Products after 44 years of service and a farmer. He was also a member of the Petersburg United Methodist Church, a Sunday school superintendant and was on the board of trustees.
In addition to his parents; Mr. Woodward is preceded in death by a sister; Marie Woodward.
He is survived by his wife of nearly fifty years; Barbara Talley Woodward of Petersburg; One daughter; Marie Stanley Cantrell of Petersburg; One Granddaughter; McKenzie Cantrell of Petersburg; one grandson; Carey Cantrell of Petersburg. Two sisters; Betty Lasater and Judy Richardson both of Lewisburg; One brother Jimmy Woodward of Vista, California; Two nephews; Tim Richardson and Rex Richardson both of Lewisburg.
Funeral Services for Mr Woodward will be conducted on Saturday from the Petersburg United Methodist Church at 2:00 PM with burial to follow in Old Orchard Cemetery . Reverend Donnie Morris officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, May 23, 2008 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM and also from 12:00 PM on Saturday until the funeral hour at the church.
