James Crigger

November 13, 1931 — November 3, 2006

Mr. James Larry Crigger, 74, a resident of Scenic Drive in Lewisburg, died Friday, November 3, 2006 at Maury Regional Hospital.

Funeral services for Mr. Crigger will be conducted Sunday, November 5, 2006 at 2:00 PM at the Bills-McGaugh Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Lone Oak Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Saturday from 4:00 until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.

The Marshall County native was the son of the late Leroy and Frances Cozart Crigger and was the widower of Helen Burns Crigger who died in 2004. He was retired from Inter City Products of the Local 14th Union. He was active in the affairs of the Marshall County Republican Party and member of the Westvue Church of Christ. Mr. Crigger has been an avid Vanderbilt Commodore fan for many years.

He is survived by a daughter, Betty Herman Demonbreum of Shelbyville, TN; a step son, Tommy Burns of Lewisburg, TN; 2 grandchildren, Dana Terry of Lewisburg, TN and Travis Demonbreum of Murfreesboro, TN; 2 great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Martha Andy Carter and Mary George Ledford both of Lewisburg, TN.

Pallbearers will be Troy Ledford, Martin Carter, Andy Carter, II, Gary Hollingsworth, Mike Kenny, Jonathon Terry, and Wayne Coomes. Honorary pallbearers will be Don Wright, Roger Brannon, Harvey Allison, and Bubba Watson.
