Jackie Wayne Jack Mason

Jackie (Jack) Wayne Mason, age 68 of Shelbyville, TN passed away on Thursday, August 17, 2017 at The Heritage Medical Center. Mr. Mason was a native of Paragould, Arkansas. He worked for the General Motors Corp. for 33 years and retired from there in 2000. He enjoyed watching professional sports and Westerns, but most of all he enjoyed watching his grandchildren play ball.
Mr. Mason was preceded in death by his wife, Jennifer McNutt Mason, parents, Madison Wesley Mason and Ruby Roberta McElfresh, and two brothers, Kenneth Mason, and Charles Mason. He is survived by sons, Christopher (Taylor) Mason, Shelbyville, TN, Kenny (Mandy) Cogdill, Trimble, TN, Daniel (Rachel) Jean, Lewisburg, TN, two daughters, Traci Cogdill, Newport News, VA, Laura Lynn Jean, Nashville, TN, two sisters, Viola (JR) Nelson, Paragould, AR, Betty (Jerry Don) Thompson, Paragould, AR, five grandchildren, Madison Mason, Easton Mason, Carson Cogdill, Julie Cogdill, Braden Myers along with several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held in the Chapel of Bills-McGaugh & Hamilton from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Monday, August 21, 2017. The Funeral Service will be on Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel. Burial will follow at the Fox-Wheatley Cemetery in Lewisburg, TN. Serving as Pallbearers will be Larry Collins, Marcus Taylor, Brandon Hollingsworth, Shannon Ketchum, Mike Reynolds and Justin McQueen.
