Helen Louise Stone Howard

Helen Louise Howard, age 85, passed away on Saturday, August 25, 2018 in Vanderbilt University Hospital, Nashville, TN. Helen was born on August 26, 1932 to Carl and Eveline Nazaratian Stone in Palmya, TN. She was a retired secretary for a California radio station where she had the pleasure of meeting many country music stars. Helen loved shopping, wildlife, and watching old westerns on TV and at the movies. She was known for her great wit and was a leukemia survivor.

Ms. Howard was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Eveline Stone, and two grandsons, Jeremy Bullock and Gabriel Cox. She is survived by a son, Mike (Laura) Cox, Dechard, TN; two daughters, Linda Miller, Yuma, AZ, Charlotte (Dan) Congdon, Lewisburg, TN; brother, Ernie Stone, Las Vegas, NV; sister, Kathy Kinnebrew; nine grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
