Glyn Hamilton
November 17, 1928 — April 20, 2015
Glyn A. Hamilton, age 86 of Mooresville, passed away on Monday, April 20, 2015 at NHC Healthcare-Oakwood in Lewisburg after a long illness.
Mr. Hamilton was a native of Scott County, Kentucky and was the son of the late Orval Hamilton and Laura Elizabeth Coyle Hamilton. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Virginia Hamilton and three brothers, J. W., Orval, and Don Hamilton.
Glyn was a farmer most all of his life, loved his Border Collies, and loved to share with everyone how they could herd cattle and sheep. He also served his country with the Army National Guard.
Survivors include a brother, Duke (Billie) Hamilton of Mooresville, and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, April 23, 2015 in Bryant Cemetery in Mooresville at 11 AM. Visitation with the family will be Wednesday, April 22, 2015 from 5 PM until 8 PM in the Chapel of Bills-McGaugh Funeral Home.
